Wines of the Fanini wine cellar have been admitted to the Italian National Wine Collection!
In the meeting of January 18, 2008, the Admissions Commission examined the wine samples presented by the Fanini wine producing company and admitted the following products to the Italian National Wine Collection:
Robbiano - Umbria Chardonnay IGT
Vigna La Pieve - Umbria Sangiovese IGT
Merlo+T - Merlot Umbria IGT Umbria Merlot IGT

Great success of the Fanini wine producing company in Holland.
One of the most prestigious Dutch newspapers, De Telegraaf, visited the Fanini wine cellar for a guided tasting of the company's products. All of them received high appraisal, especially the local wine Vigna La Pieve Sangiovese Umbria IGT 2001.

Open Wine Cellars 2008
This year, as usual, the Fanini Wine company will take part in the manifestation 'Open Wine Cellars' (May 25, 2008). The day promises to be full of events: with fun for children and adults, tasting of typical products, visits in the wine cellar and to the vineyards. New York - Presentation of the Umbria Jazz programme. The Fanini Wine company participated at the presentation of the Umbria Jazz programme in New York. In particular, the wine tasting was offered during the Gala dinner, which took place at the Guggenheim Museum on the occasion of the exposition to the public of the Pintoricchio masterpiece “Madonna delle mani” (from The Giordano Foundation). To celebrate jazz together with the typical Italian products, the wines were at the centre of the splendid dinner at Birdland, “the Jazz Corner of the World” (Charlie Parker). This meeting gave an opportunity to meet the New York market of high-quality restoration which for always represents a very important commercial space for the Italian wine producers, also because of the enormous visibility that this metropolis has in the world.
