Ancient villages, nowadays small towns, are scattered around the Valdichiana
area, which gave its name to the famous 'Chianina' cattle breed, used for
the production of 'Bistecca alla Fiorentina' (T-bone steak).
Cortona, Montepulciano, Citta della Pieve and Castiglione del Lago adorn
our beautiful land, offering an oenological and gastronomic panorama of
the highest level. Restaurants and wine shops prepare for their clients
different typical dishes (noodles, roast meat, game meat, lake fish and
cheese) cooked in different local styles, accompanied by local wines.
